A small infill section with limited space provided a unique challenge to contain a comfortable 3 bedroom house. The house is designed to maximise the available space, while providing for vehicle access, outdoor living and fitting within the various planning controls. A key requirement was to allow the house to be lived in with only using the ground floor, with areas able to be effectively shut off which included keeping the main stair separated. The lower floor includes the living spaces, master suite, a small concealed study, laundry and garage. Upstairs expands the house into a full family house with the stairs opening into a separate living space, dual bedrooms and a family bathroom. Material selections provided for a low maintenance durable house. Windows were specifically set out and sized to suit the concrete block veneer pattern.
