Concept Design: Drawing upon insights gathered during the initial consultation, a concept design is crafted. This design phase may feature sketches, drawings, and 3D models, offering a visual representation of the proposed design and its key elements.

Design Development: With client approval of the concept design, the project progresses to the design development stage. Here, the design is refined, materials and finishes are selected, and detailed drawings and specifications are developed.

Resource Consent: Depending on the project's scope, securing resource consent from the local council may be necessary. This entails submitting plans and documentation to ensure compliance with zoning regulations and environmental standards.

Building Consent: Prior to commencing construction, obtaining building consent from the local council is essential. Detailed plans and specifications are submitted to demonstrate compliance with building code requirements.

Construction: With all permits secured, construction commences. The architect may oversee the construction phase to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
