A quintessential rural house was racing towards its best before date and in dire need of a refresh and modernisation. An extension to one end to accommodate a new master bedroom and extended living space, while a previous bathroom addition was removed and accommodated elsewhere. Throughout the interior the layout was updated with better use of space being achieved. A large hallway was absorbed into bedroom spaces, laundry bathroom and toilets were all modernised. The master bedroom extension accommodated full featured ensuite with large walk in shower and ample wardrobe space, while the expanded living room gave clearer definition between living, dining and kitchen. Externally the original weatherboards were matched and extended to the addition creating a cohesive extension, with the large north facing deck extended to connect and provide for a generous outdoor living space.
